Wow, what a fun weekend! We had amazing weather at Camp Comfort this weekend. Everyone was in camp by 7:00 PM on Friday. The usual Friday night go-out-to-dinner thing, then we had a Friday night Fire. The weather was so nice and we had a great time chatting and laughing by the fire. On Saturday we went into Ojai and returned in the early afternoon to prepare for the festivities. Rex & Ben played the piano for a bit before the meeting while the ladies worked on a few crafty things with Karen. At the meeting our President was trying to set a meeting speed record but George S. had to get into the mix with future campout location and date discussions and no time records were broken this month. We welcomed two new members Todd and Renee’ A. and Linda N. It’s great to have you join us! After the meeting we prepared for the Saturday night feast. As usual it did not disappoint, including the Ice Cream Sundae Bar. After dinner we enjoyed seeing a few members who’ve been absent recently around the fire and had fun hearing some new jokes and stories. Bacon was back (YEA!) at Sunday breakfast thanks to Lynne and not one piece was left behind. Some folks took off quickly while a few stayed till noon and a couple others stayed Sunday night as well. July will be dark, so we will look forward see you in August at Pismo! Think about going with us to the Melodrama Friday night!!
