We placed a group phone call to George B. who was being released from the hospital the following day. We wished him well and hope to see him in March.
Meeting was called to order by Ben at 7:35 pm. He welcomed everyone and as there was nothing on his agenda he turned the meeting over to George S.
George S. introduced guests Carol M. and Lisa & Bob S. There was one correction to the previous meeting minutes. The balance was $2,340.00 in lieu of what was reported. Today’s balance is $3,705.00.
George S. was asked if he would ask for any money back on the rent of the clubhouse at the KOA because of the stove and lights being out of order. He didn’t think that would be possible but he would give it a shot.
He reminded everyone of the payment 3 months in advance practice. Site number 2 at Tapo Canyon will be cancelled if nobody calls him. There will be a Corriganville tour at 10:00 am on Saturday, if it doesn’t rain. He reminded that we are always invited to the Saturday dinner if we can’t come to the campout. It was suggested that in March we have a chili cook-off which would work well even if it rains. Everybody agreed.
April is Pechanga. He will be finalizing that event on Monday.
May is Tehachapi. We have 10 sites for that event. Elevation is about 4,000 ft.
June is Camp Comfort. We have the whole campground booked except for one site.
July is dark.
August is Oceano County Park, a new campground for us.
September is Yucaipa. Elevation is about 2,500 ft.
October is Open.
November is Flying Flags, Buellton.
Ben thanked Sue O. and Tom & Karen Hartt for being excellent wagon masters.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM.
