George S. gave the treasurer's report.
The balance is approximately $5000 which will rise to $6500 to $7000 when all the booked sites are paid for.
Dues of $30 are due by July 1. Names will drop off the list for non-payment.
Some campgrounds are getting harder to make group bookings at. Some now require booking two years in advance. County parks reserve six months in advance. Members are encouraged to sent their checks in promptly for the upcoming camp outs.
Camp Comfort......6/10-6/12 -There may be one site available at Camp Comfort in June, let George know if you would like to book it, for yourselves or a guest. The theme at Camp Comfort will be "4th of July".
Oceano......8/12-8/14 -Twelve sites are reserved at Oceano. George needs to hear from members soon if they want to attend, and they are welcome to invite guests. If we do not get twelve RVers there will be no refund, but the unused sites can be used next year.
Some members will extend their trip either before or after Oceano, details to follow.
Yucaipa......9/16-9/18 -Some members will stay at the Serrano Campground in Big Bear before or after Yucaipa. Details to follow.
In Yucaipa we have sites in the shade. There is bass fishing in the lake and of course the apple orchards are a few miles away in Oak Glen.
Long Beach......10/14-10/16 -The Golden Shores RV park is convenient to the Aquarium, Queen Mary, shops and restaurants.
Flying Flags,Buellton......11/4-11/6 -We will be celebrating an early Thanksgiving.
Jim is working on updating the roster, which will be sent to members.
Bob and Debbie G. from The Family Motorhome Society spoke to us of the benefits of membership.
We had a discussion about the times for the meeting, for dinner and for breakfast and it was decided to leave that to the discretion of the Wagon masters.
The meeting adjourned at 4:45pm
