Wow! It was a hot one! We have been here in Kenny Grove when it has rained like crazy but this time we arrived on Friday to 90+ Temps. Luckily Kenny Grove has lots of shade and we sure took advantage of it. There was a power failure late in the afternoon, which was no surprise as everyone was cranking the air conditioners in their rigs. Rhonna soon putted over in her cart and reset the breaker and we were back in business for the rest of the weekend. Saturday was a bit cooler and we were thankful as it made the group events much better. We had a quick meeting as Prez Ben was trying to break the short meeting record. About seven minutes after starting it was over! Later we enjoyed the BBQ American Style dinner and especially the Apple pie and Ice Cream for dessert. Saturday evening our firemaster George B. got the evil eye from Rhonna for his middle-of-the-road campfire but the clean up left no evidence and all was well. Thanks to Virginia and John C. for being Wagonmasters. You did a great job! Sunday morning after the breakfast everyone hit the road to beat the heat and the mosquitoes.
See everyone a Camp Comfort
